iLoveMd.tech tracks application actions, not the contents of your documents.

Documents and annotations

Markdown, local images, preferences, history and annotations are stored in your browser. They are sent to the export service only when you request an export. Export artifacts are temporary. Do not treat browser storage as a permanent backup.

Analytics

The repository supports Google Tag Manager container GTM-WXQLRTK4 with Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-M95454PHMZ. Analytics loads only when the deployment's documented privacy mode permits it. It is disabled in local development and automated tests by default.

When active, allowlisted events can include a sanitized public page path, workspace feature choices, export format and outcome, PWA installation state, allowlisted error codes, and portfolio link visibility or activation. iLoveMd.tech does not send Markdown, rendered text, annotations, clipboard contents, filenames, document titles, form values, email addresses, arbitrary URLs or raw error messages to analytics.

Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage when configured in GTM/GA4. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and disabled scripts can prevent collection. The site does not add session replay, fingerprinting, or advertising personalization.

Portfolio referrals

A portfolio impression means at least half of the owner-controlled link was visible for one continuous second while the tab was visible. A click records referral intent, not a confirmed lead. Downstream contact submissions are not visible unless the separately hosted portfolio is also instrumented with compatible, authorized analytics.

Controls and contact

If a deployment requires consent, analytics must remain off until valid consent is recorded. Clearing site data removes local preferences and any consent choice, but also removes locally stored documents and annotations; export a backup first. The site operator must add a current contact method before production launch.
